About the course
Cyber Quest: The Digital Guardians is an interactive digital citizenship course that uses storytelling, decision-making, and reflection to help students navigate real-world online challenges. Through a graphic novel–powered experience, students explore topics like cyberbullying, privacy, and digital behavior — building the skills needed to think critically and act responsibly online. The course is structured around 10 immersive expeditions, each designed to guide students through increasingly complex digital situations. Every expedition places students inside a story where they must observe, evaluate, and make decisions that mirror real-life online experiences. As students progress through the expeditions, they begin to rely less on guided support and more on their own judgment — strengthening their ability to think independently, recognize risks, and respond thoughtfully in digital environments. Each expedition follows a consistent learning flow: • Experience – Students engage with interactive, story-based scenarios • Reflect – Students process their decisions through guided journaling • Apply – Students reinforce learning through short, scenario-based assessments The goal of Cyber Quest is not just to teach digital citizenship, but to help students practice it in context — developing awareness, empathy, and confidence in the choices they make online. By the end of the course, students are better prepared to navigate digital spaces safely, communicate responsibly, and contribute positively to their online communities.
